I have dedicated my legal career to helping others and advocating for justice. I began my career at the Midland County District Attorney’s Office in 2003 as an assistant district attorney in the misdemeanor division. I then promoted a felony prosecutor, trial team chief, and First Assistant District Attorney where I oversaw all facets of criminal cases from intake to disposition. In 2017, I was honored to be elected Midland County District Attorney, where I served until my in 2024. This role encompassed representing the State of Texas in all criminal matters countywide, managing five departments, over 25 attorneys, a dozen investigators, and nearly 20 legal assistants. One of my last trials was a fifteen-week capital murder trial to seek justice on behalf of two innocent lives that were taken too early.
Throughout my career, I have not only overseen complex legal proceedings but also provided strategic recommendations and advocated for justice. My role advising members of Congress and the Texas Legislature on legal matters has enabled me to develop exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, which I consider crucial for effective consulting. Additionally, I have successfully implemented programs addressing community needs, demonstrating my ability to work collaboratively and enhance community relations.
I look forward to utilizing my unique experiences, comprehensive legal background, and litigation insights while also continuing to expand and grow professionally.

I have always held that Our Lord and Savior comes first. In our day-to-day lives, we always have to put our family first. My husband, Kurt, and I have been committed to each other for 28 years and married for 25. We are the proud parents of twins, Addie & Cooper (17). Without the support of my entire family, I could not have achieved all that I have. I am so grateful for their sacrifice, advice, and love.
